Global Refinery Ltd is a subsidiary of a private investment company based in the Bahamas with offices in Switzerland, Bermuda, Germany, the UK and Iraq.

ABOUT US

Global Refinery Ltd was established in 2007 with a mandate to develop Iraq based infrastructure projects in the energy, infrastructure and transportation sectors. Typically this is  achieved via strategic joint ventures with technical partners contracting directly for state backed projects either via public tenders or direct application. The main focus is on the transportation of dry bulk, wet products, refineries, power plants and urban infrastructure. With offices in Basra and Baghdad, it acts as a pivotal lynch pin in all Iraq related projects, enabling its parent company to create, develop and maximise opportunities using its strong local presence and network to ensure it is always one step ahead of its competitors.

Drawing on the expertise of its local and affiliate offices in Switzerland, the UK, Germany and Bermuda, Global Refinery acts as an exclusive local partner to many major international companies and institutions, providing support across a range of sectors, allowing international companies to successfully tender for large scale projects, whilst providing them with the local insights required to progress to project execution and completion.

SERVICES

Global Refinery offers a comprehensive list of services to a multitude of private and state owned organisations, requiring the implementation of turn key power, energy and transport solutions throughout the project lifecycle. Through our joint venture partners and our offices in Iraq, we are able to offer a complete project solution package, which covers the various multidimensional stages of each and every project, from the identification of our most suitable partner, the tender, bidding process, to ongoing liaison with ministries, security, support and advice throughout all subsequent stages through to completion.

Having Global refinery as a local partner gives our clients the added benefit of being connected to a locally recognised and respected partner, which will work collaboratively to ensure the smooth coordination of each project, with the ability to use its network and local knowledge to mitigate risks and resolve any issues in a discreet and effective manner.

 VISION

Global refinery’s objective is to assist emerging countries to bridge the economic gap with the Western world, with a view to identifying the best and most economic partners in order to successfully complete power, transport, energy and infrastructure projects. This is a two dimensional process - firstly we look to secure the most economical service / product, however, without sacrificing quality, so as to ensure that the final package is concordant with realistic costs. Secondly, with assistance from out parent company, we are able to offer finance solutions, where possible structuring finance packages whether finance and / or investment.

Reaching our objectives via the successful completion of projects, drives economic growth and empowers emerging countries to compete on a more equal footing in the international markets - this is a two way benefit to any country’s GNP.
